Photos | Missouri, Death Records, 1834-1910 A BOY DROWNED Johnnie Skyler, a boy 15 years of age, residing with his parents at 825 Biddle Street, was swiming in the river at the foot of Carr street yesterday when he was seized with cramps and drowned. Several people saw the boy trying to reach the shore, but his strength failed him and before assistance arrived he disappeared. The body of a boy was found at the foot of Soulard street yesterday afternoon and it is thought to be that of young Skyler. The remains were removed to the morgue. | |
