Mrs. Hannah Poulter, aged about 75 years, wife of Mr. James Poulter, died suddenly of heart disease, Saturday morning, at her home in the West End, near the Washington line. She had been a member of the Christian church for a number of years, and her many friends sympathize with the aged husband and large family of children, two of whom, W. F. and Elijah, reside in Missouri; Mrs. Martha Anderson in Garrard, while J. W. Henry and Garrett and Mrs. Alice Sims live in this county. Deceased was a sister of George Thompson - who lives on the Lexington pike, near town. Her funeral was preached at Grapevine, Sunday, by Rev. Campbell, and interment took place in the Grapevine graveyard.
