In the name of God, Amen. I am Caleb Vanausdal of the County of Greenbriar and the Commonwealth of Virginia for the purpose of arrainging and settling all my wordly affairs do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following: that is to say it is my will and desire that my executor thereafter named do proceed to collect whatever debts are due to me as as soon as possible pay and discharge
all my lawful debts without a say of any part of my property for that purpose. I will and bequeth to my oldest son Cornelius Vanausdal seven acres and a half to be taken off the Southwest end of my land so as to include the house he built the quantity of land to extend from the house to the Maple corner; in the next place I leave and bequeath to my son James Carman Vanausdal that part of my farm to be taken from the first run between my house and back barn running a straight line to a forked hickory which once was a corner of part of the survey then through the low place of the kitchen log hollow till the clapboard run then extending up the run to the three hickory corner. Also my shotgun and watch with the whole of my Smith tools. I leave and bequeath all the
residue of my lands and personal property whatever to be equally divided between my four daughters that is to say, Sarah, Nancy, Margaret and Jane them giving thereout to Patey Littlepage a bed when they think it convient and to their sister Elizabeth Wylie a bed and two cows at a
convient time. it is further my will that my son James Carman Vanausdal shall give out of my bequest to William Wallace Littlepage a horse value to about thirty or fourty dollars at any time before said William Wallace Littlepage is eighteen years of age; I do hearby appoint William
McClintock Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills by me made in any manner in testimony whereof I here unto subscribed and affixed my seal this 6th day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred adn twenty six - 1826.
